Book & Boogie – HOLIDAY!

The SEEDS Network is offering *special holiday versions* of Book & Boogie this fall and winter season! Book & Boogie is a children’s program, geared towards children ages 3-6, where we incorporate books and literacy with music and movement activities.

Features of the Book & Boogie HOLIDAY:

  • Sessions are 40 minutes long
  • Will feature warm up and cool down
  • 2 holiday stories with 2 holiday music and movement components that relate to the stories
  • Includes a BONUS activity with something for each child to take home!
  • Bring us to YOUR location for $100 per session / $250 if booking 3 holiday sessions  (additional fee for travel outside of the greater Hartford area)

HOLIDAY Sessions

BookAndBoogieHalloween   Not so scary Halloween! We'll explore two fun Halloween books with popular characters children may already be familar with - "Click, Clack, Boo!" by Doreen Cronin and Betsy Lewin and "Scaredy-cat, Splat!" by Rob Scotton. BookAndBoogieThanksgiving   Fall & Thanksgiving We'll explore the wonder of fall with books, music and action rhymes during this session.  Books for this session include "Thanks for Thanksgiving" by Julie Markes and "Fletcher and the Falling Leaves" by Julia Rawlinson. BookAndBoogieChristmas   Christmas! We'll ring in the Christmas season with stories "Mr. Willowby's Christmas Tree" by Robert Barry and "Pete the Cat Saves Christmas" by Eric Litwin and James Dean and boogie to some Christmas favorites! BookAndBoogieWinter     Winter Wonderland We'll be boogin' in a winter wonderland during this session!  We'll enjoy books, songs and music about all the fun that comes with winter season, including "The Snowy Day" by Ezra Jack Keats and "Snowmen at Night" by Caralyn Buehner.
