Supplies

white paper, crayons or markers, colored music notes shapes (out of paper), glue sticks, CD player with music

Description

This is a creative activity for toddlers and preschoolers.  Talk to children about music and how it can make you feel.  Slow and classical music can make us feel calm and relaxed - fast music can make us feel excited.   Allow children to express that feeling on paper with crayons or marker by having them color/draw as they listen to the music you play.   Play a selection of music so they can feel their mood change with the music.

After they draw, have them glue on cut out "music notes" to their paper!
