Preschool SuppliesContact Paper or (Waxed Paper and glue), Tissue Paper (pre-cut into small pieces), Googly Eyes, Yarn DescriptionGive each child a piece of contact paper cut out in the shape of a fruit (can use glue and wax paper if no contact paper is available). Some easy fruit shapes to make are apples, pineapple, strawberries or watermelon. Have children practice cutting skills by having them cut small pieces of tissue paper. If children are too young to cut, they can tear the tissue paper. Children then stick pieces of colored tissue paper to their contact paper fruit shape. When dried, flip over and adhere googly eyes. Hang them in the windows! Share this idea |
