Infant/Toddler SuppliesApples, paint of various colors, paper plates or sponge, construction or easel paper DescriptionCut the Apples in half vertically and horizontally (cut in half perpendicular to the core). Pour the paint onto a sponge or onto a paper plate. Place the apple into the paint and then stamp it onto the paper. Point out the "star" shape that they will see in the center of their apple prints. For younger children, you can stick a fork into the apple and give the children a "handle" to hold onto while they stamp (avoids getting paint all over their hands). Share this idea |
