Age Group

Supplies

black and white construction paper, glue sticks, CD player with music

Description

Beforehand, cut out lots of strips out of black and white construction paper (about 1" wide).  Make black strips shorter than the white.  Tape together 2 or 3 large pieces of black construction paper and to each child along with the white and black strips and a glue stick.

Show children a real keyboard (if you have one) or pictures from a book.  Play some piano music and have children listen to the sounds.  Then ask children to make their OWN keyboard and enjoy the results!
